Natural Specimens

Everything we sell is a natural mineral or gemstone specimen. Natural crystals often have small inclusions, growth marks, contacts, or minor dings from mining and handling. These are part of the stone's character. We describe any significant damage, repair, or treatment in the listing.

About Our Photos

We photograph each specimen in natural light, and every photo shows the exact stone you will receive, not a stock or "similar" image. Color can still look different depending on the light you view it in (daylight, incandescent, LED), your screen's settings, and the angle. Some minerals, such as kunzite, tourmaline, and fluorite, look noticeably different under different light. Please allow for slight differences in color and brightness. If you would like more photos or a video before you buy, just ask.

Measurements and Weights

Measurements and weights are taken by hand and are approximate.

Locality Information

Locality information comes from our direct sourcing relationships and is given in good faith.

Pricing and Availability

Each specimen is one of a kind. If two people buy the same piece at nearly the same moment, the first completed payment gets it, and the other buyer is refunded in full. We may correct obvious pricing errors.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
